Excelsus Solutions, LLC is seeking an A-Player Pre-Press Technician with Graphic Design skills to provide exceptional color quality products to its customers. Highly qualified and motivated candidates will be considered who love their trade and want full responsibility for maintaining coloration technology for our client’s digital print production system. Expert skills required in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Quark Express and Enfocus Pitstop Pro for the use of inspection and preparation of all incoming digital files as well as ensuring that all of the essential elements are in place, reviewed and ready for transfer to production. Must have color correction and color management / profiling experience. Duties include, but are not limited to, the use of RIP software, Wasatch, ONYX and Caldera to impose and RIP files to large format digital roll to roll and flatbed presses. Lenticular file prep knowledge and skill in the use of Power-Illusion and HumanEyes is a plus. Exceptional trouble shooting and problem solving skills are required, as well as an understanding and aptitude for minimizing spoilage at all steps from digital file review through production start-up and run. Training in problem solving methods is a definite plus.
